Would YOUR Organization Be Interested in Hosting a NaSPA Chapter?

Clearview Consulting, L.L.C. was a recent host to the inaugural meeting of the North Texas Telecom Valley chapter of the Networks and Systems Professionals Association (NaSPA) May 11, 2010. In addition to a great presentation on Virtualization by Clearview, the group also covered content, speakers, formats and priorities for future meetings. It was NaSPA's pleasure to share an afternoon with them in their fine Dallas facility. NaSPA plans some follow up meetings, including a tour of a rather revolutionary Clearview Disaster Recovery Center in Waco, TEXAS.

About Clearview: Since 1995, Clearview has worked with industry-leading clients to develop and implement meaningful technology programs that tie directly to business results. From its headquarters in Dallas, Texas, Clearview has reached across the nation and the world to perform engagements throughout Europe and the Pacific Rim. Clearview's Information Gateways are located in Dallas and Waco, Texas, where they provide a full range of collocation, managed services, and back-up/disaster recovery. Clearview is a privately held company led by Jay Looney, Clay Hill, Ron Williams and Jay Battershell. These executives are industry-known, seasoned leaders with management and operational experience from companies such as EDS, ACS, Accenture, and KPMG. Their experience spans a full-range of industry areas and technology programs.

About NaSPA: In the past 24 years, hundreds of thousands of technology professionals have coursed through NaSPA training programs, subscribed to its publications, supported its educational foundation, and have attended its technology conferences and trade shows. Its flagship publication, Technical Support Magazine includes fresh, timely content about Data Center Management, Disaster Recovery, Virtualization, and even some content not found anywhere else; like what technologists should do when they face job loss or financial stress.

So what else is new? According to NaSPA President Leo A. Wrobel, first, look for a resurrection of NaSTEC, NaSPA's annual conference, in the Fall of 2010 in Chicago. NaSTEC allows members to meet face-to-face, attend educational sessions, and share ideas and issues that shape the IT profession. And since this is the first NaSTEC conference in several years, WHAT an opportunity it could be for both potential attendees and exhibitors! Email us to learn more about group discounts for attending, or how to exhibit to our thousands of members. Also watch for a vastly updated web site as well as a whole slate of new benefits for NaSPA members. Are you a NaSPA member? Click HERE for more information on joining!
